Floria Sigimondi is known to have directed music videos for Katy Perry, Pink, Marilyn Manson, David Bowie, Bjork, The Cure, Christina Aguilera etc...

Here is two comparison images of music videos that Floria Sigismondi have directed. 

This is by Muse - Supermassive black hole.

The video itself is very strange and uses extreme fast cuts and long angle shots. The music artist's are also dressed up in crazy costumes, covering their faces. The use of high key lights are also in this music video, as it shows quick flashes, that play with your eyes, it sets the video into a trance like effect.

I have put a comparison to the second image from the blue orchid video by White Stripes.

I have chosen these two due to their similarities of fast cuts and flashing images. It is very interesting to see the relation in how the director put similar effects to each video, one with more colour, and one with less and dull colours.
